New Hunting Guide for Spring & Fall

For all our adventurous hunters we are
offering 2 very Special Hunts this Spring!!!
Skwentna Roadhouse is only accessible by Snowmobile
or Aircraft, there are No Roads! Once you arrive in
Anchorage Alaska, we will meet you with our Cessna
185 on skis and take you to the lodge. We will
utilize our 2015 Polaris Snowmobiles and/or our
aircraft for the hunt. Our aircraft are a Cessna 185
on skis and a Piper Super cub on skis. In addition
Skwentna Roadhouse is the second checkpoint on the
World Famous "Iditarod Trail". We will have many
hours of fun snow machining the Iditarod Trail, the
other groomed trails in the area as well as
Wilderness areas with no trails. We are located 65
miles Northwest of Anchorage. Another notable
feature of our area is Denali National Park and
Mount McKinley, the tallest mountain in North
America, standing 20,320' above sea-level. Mount
McKinley is approximately 60 miles to our North. On
clear days, which often occur in the winter the
mountain is very visible from the lodge area.
The lodge features electricity from our own
generation plant, running water, indoor plumbing,
satellite TV, satellite internet and cell phone
service. You will have a private bedroom, the
bathrooms are just down the hall from your bedroom.
Cindi's home cooking is famous throughout the
region.
